Panama City, Panamá

I took this shot in the early morning while touring la Ciudad Antigua (“the Old City”) across the bay from downtown Panama City.  Two young Panameños were sitting on the stone fence watching two boats putter along while the city receded into the fog.  An hour later, the sun chased away the haze and the city, so recently sleeping, woke as the shiny, boisterous metropolis it has become.
